im buying a new truck a 2009 crew cab 1500 and i will be addindg a Zo6 camshaft,CAI,LT HEADERS,magna flow duals....how much can a stock tranny handle...and do you guys recommend any tranny upgrade...

its a daily & offroading truck..so i need it to be tough

and ill be going for 33 tires ...i want to give this truck to my sone 20 years from now..

That should be the new 6 speed auto, there isn't much upgrades available for those trannies yet

 

yes the 6l80...i think there are parts but what to go with for 300 whp

 

i would imagine a stock 6l80 could handle 300whp no problem..

 

you should be fine with those mods just stock
