Default 2007 Escalade 2" ebay drop spindles, 3" eibach rear springs

I picked up some 2" drop spindles from "spindle-source" on ebay, and some 3" rear eibach lower springs off of Amazon. The rear was lowered in 30 minutes... The front...not so easy. I also repalaced the lower ball joints due to a little play and both hubs.

They say these spindles work on AWD/4WD, what they don't say is you have to cut the upper ball joint stud off just below the nut, LOL. Also, you can't put the upper hub bolt in with the upper ball joint installed. Needless to say, I made up a few new words last night. Overall, it was worth the headache.

Looks sweet. With that upper nut, you could get a small body lock nut and trim it more to give you some more clearance.

Belltech does this on their spindles and the lower balljoint.

Nice! I should do that to my folk's Tahoe, to make it easier for them to get in and out of. How much firmer/harsher did the ride get from the rear springs?

Escapade is looking good!

Just a side note, but if you're running 17" rims you have to cut a good portion of the lower ball joint stud and run a smaller nut!
