Question 2006 Chevy Single Cab (4/6 Drop) Can it be done?

Right now I am running a 3/4 Belltech drop with 22 x 9.5 KMC Mavens w/ an offset that allows the wheels to tuck. Now I want to go 4/6 but I already and hitting the top of the fenders on hard bumps in the front. The tire while sitting still is about 2in. from the fenderwell. Has anyone seen this setup doen or can it be done and what do you do so the tire doesn't jam the fenderwells non-stop? Thanks!

What size tires are you running now? If the wheels will tuck you should have no problems with a 4/6 and 265/35 22 tires.

That is what I have but I will have to cut out the fenders right? I dont see how I would leave them in there. I already hit the fender when I go over dips on the freeway or big bumps.

are you sure you're hitting the fenders and it's not your axle hitting the frame?

If your rims do in fact tuck, then a 265/35/22 tire should not hinder them from tucking. Have you done a c-notch already?

Also, you can roll your fender lip like I did. Just take a wooden baseball bat and roll it between the rear fender and tire. It will give an extra .5" of room
