Default 2006 1500 4.8

I tow my sea doos on some mid to large hills, and if poossible i would like to do a cluster swap, for a trans temp guage. I know this has been covered many times. but i have not seen any info, I was just wondering if any of you have done a 06 1500 yet to see if it works. havent had any yet... i have done a few 04 avalanches/tahoes.... im sure its the same, but just seeing if anyone has done yet? go figure, i work with gm, and i cant find anyone whos done this yet.... guess just too new... im just worried there may be some stupid wiring change taht could screw me

You wont need a wiring diagram. Speedotach.com is great to deal with a will have a variety of clusters to chose from all of which will be a plug and play swap.

I got a Escalade Platinum cluster for less than $250 shipped.

You can also get a Silvy SS, HD, Denali, etc...

Yep, great people. I went to their shop in Concord to calibrate the speedo on my 78 Z28.
