Default 2005 gmc cc 4wd rearend swap to an ss

I have a 2005 gmc sierra cc 4wd and i want to put an ss rearend in it. Will i have any problems going from drums to calipers? Also, will i need to do anything with the abs pump?

Why?...

AWD SS's have the stock 10 bolt, and 2wd's have a 14 bolt which you really don't need.

My truck has drums. I have a chance to buy a silverado ss rearend with disc brakes, but no gears or carrier.

I just want to know if anything else needs to be changed when doing the swap.

Now i'm thinking about zo6 brakes all around.

More research!!!
