Hey just wanted to know more about my options for my 2003 Chevy silverado crew cab sort box 4x4. I know that the 6.0 lq4 it's what's inside it but what engines are compatible to just drop right in with no hassle. Thanks

 

I'm pretty sure any 01-07 LQ4 or LQ9 long block would swap directly in.

If you bought a drive by cable truck motor, just swap your intake/throttle over and you are good to go.

I wouldn't stick a 5.3 in that's for sure.

 

I would either get it rebuilt, Buy a remanufactured one, or get a clean pull out if you can find one.
