Default 2000 Sierra lowering and traction questions

I just bought a completely stock 2000 Sierra rcsb. Plans for the truck are iron 408/pt88/th400. I'm starting with the rear on this build and Im wanting to try to keep traction on the street. My questions are

What lowering kits do you recommend?
How much of a drop?
Flip kit or no?
What traction bars with what lowering kit?
Shock relocation?
How many leafs to remove?

I'm a newb with the 2 wheel drive trucks, I got used to the easy traction with my awd sss. Sorry in advance for the dumb questions

If you want traction on the street with that kind of setup I would think a ladder bar or 4 link setup with some adjustable coil-overs would be a must. Then put the fattest drag radial you can fit back there.....

A more mild setup would be traction bars, second leaf removed, adjustable shocks and drag radials but may still not hook on the street with that power....

Thanks for the reply. And I'm wanting to stick with the stock suspension. One of my buddies has assassin bars on his truck but he has a flip kit. I planned on shock relocation and traction bars with some 325 radials. Just don't know what bars work the best with what set up or lowering kits.

A lot of people like the assassin bars because they are more adjustable than CalTracs. I think a flip kit will also help a bit with traction and I have seen several setups with the middle leaf removed out of the spring pack that seem to be working real well. I think most will tell you though that traction on the street will be a long shot with a 408 and turbo.....

X2
I think a 4-bar or tri-bar would be your best bet.
