ok well I am about to plunge in and buy my first torque converter AND ONLY WANT TO DO THIS ONCE; mods currently on RCSB LQ4/80e swap, LT headers, eFans, CAI, UD pulley, TBSS intake swap, posi w/3.90 gear, 3'pipe all the way, wheatley tune and its my true DD. future plans cam under 230 duration and head swap

i have 2 options for a :
258mm circle d multidisk 3k stall
9.5 pheonix single disk 3600 stall

what would i be better of with? since its my DD and i will be driving it with stock cam/heads for a while. i will also install a shift kit w/stall and tru cool.

The 258mm will be better for a DD. We can raise the stall a little more than 3000 to compliment the cam. Be happy to discuss the options, just give me a shout....

I daily drive my CircleD 3600 with my 80e. Basically i have the same setup you do minus the heads/cam... I love it it can be tame/mild/wild depending on your foot, it is very easy to control once you get used to it....
