Default 2/4 lower install???

Please help-Is anyone have a picture of 2006 Silverado I have problem to figure it out how to do the factory hangers to remove. Can do with air punch or torch to cut the rivets. But there is 6 holes and the aftermarket hangers is 4 holes which should do at top or the bottom. If somebody have a picture would be helpful for me to see it and would be more eaiser for me to do it. How can you tell the hangers eyes have two holes which leaf suppose go top or low same as the shackles with two holes too. Just want to make 4 inch drop in the rear. If you know what I am talk about?

On the factory hanger there is a bracket attached to the bottom of the framerail with two additional mounting holes. Those two holes will not be used. You can remove this bracket too if you want to.

For the shackles you can put the leaf in the top or bottom depending on how low you want the truck to be.

You can kind of see how the hanger mounts in this picture.

there should only be one hole on the hangers. 4 bolt holes to mount to the frame, and 1 hole to mount the leafspring.

Both hangers and shackles use the top holes for a 4" drop

Good luck and post some pictures!
