14 bolt swap into 2001 1/2 ton Suburban
Has anyone swapped a 14 bolt into a 2000-2006 1/2 2WD Suburban?
Will the 14 bolt from a 2007-2008 1/2 ton Avalanche or Suburban bolt in?
What mods are needed?
Will the driveshaft need to be shortened? How much?

Took some measurements from a 2008 1/2 ton Avalanche with 6.0 and 14 bolt. It appears the 5 link body mounting points are in the same location, as close as I can tell laying on my back with a tape measure. The rear end is about 3/4" wider than my 2001 Suburban's. So far it looks pretty good.
