Hey all, first post - I have a 2000 silverado 1500 2wd with a 3.42 rear end. I'm wanting a 3.73 or 4.10. I found a 3.73 out of an '01 1500 4wd, it's disc brake and 6 lug, but i'm still unsure if it'll be a direct swap, I've searched and can't find a definitive answer, some think width is a little different, some say shock mounts are different, any info one way or the other would be great. thanks, good site.

 

If it's a NBS, GMT800 it's the same.
