07 NBS factory block??

is this removable?

looked underneath my truck the other day and am wondering if i can just remove it... like a free leveling kit.

Yes, you need 2wd U-bolts and maybe a shim but probably not

it is 2wd... so just pulll it out and bolt back together? no lil hangups or extra parts...

no you need a shorter U-bolt unless yours have enough thread to tighten and torque them

i pulled them out of mine and used nothing extra to tighten it back up. just pull the blocks and reuse the stock bolts. worked out fine and dropped the rear about 1.5 inches.

Gonna need more than that block to level it!!!

Not all the u-bolts are threaded the same it appears so make sure you don't bottom out when torquing or you won't get your clamp up. Some guys are adding thick spacers/washers under the nut to make sure if its close (looks better too without 2" of thread hanging down unless you plan to cut it off).

Torque is 74 lbs/ft on the nuts BTW (1500 series).

Just installed (still have dust in my eyes) the belltech 2" drop shackles, made a small but nice difference. Plan on removing the blocks as well possibly.
