Default 06 z71 front diff

Bought me a new truck yesterday. 06 gmc reg cab z71 and I was just wondering if the front diff had a posi unit in it?

noone does or will ever make any type of posi/ locker for the 8.25 front diff.

We can only wish for a posi front, but youll never see one in a stock truck.

Doubt what? Ive even emailed Eaton and they said they will never make anything for the 8.25 as it is just too weak.
