Any chance they weren't bled well enough?

I put SS brakelines and flushed with DOT4 fluid on mine and they made the pedal feel noticably firmer, but I have 4 wheel discs. I am pretty sure the SS line kits for the rear drum trucks are just for the front lines, so I'm not sure if it would do as much good.

No better at all. Yep I had them bled 3 times just to make sure. The pedal is still as spongy as the day I bought it.

Dealer said they were fine the first time I took it in. The second time they wouldn't look at it because I had done the upgrades.

My brake guy suggested there might be something wrong with the master cyl. But as far as I can tell there are no leaks. I'm not sure what else to check at this point. I might try changing out the MC.

I have 4 wheel disc.

I called Tbyrne
They don't carry any rotors that are stock size for my truck.
Only 14" and 15" kits.

I may end up going with the R1s if I can't find anything else.
Has anyone used them before?

Yeah, but I need some really good brakes to handle all this power-
your truck prolly doesn't go as fast as mine

JK, Nice truck BTW

Thanks for the reply, how many miles have you put on them?
have you used them at 100mph+ many times?
Do they really still feel nice and smooth?

I just picked up some drilled and slotted rotors, I didn't want drilled but it was the only thing i could find locally that they had in stock and they have a 2 year warranty so we'll see how they work out i'm installing them sunday. I too needed something better than stock because I run 22's in the summer and braking sucks, but in the winter I run the stock rims so I can't go with a big brake kit. SS lines are supposed to get rid of the spongy feel?

TTT
Any more input on the 06 rotors?

FWIW,
My brakes have plenty of stopping power.
I am just looking to get rid of the warped feeling.
