Default 02 4L60e fluid issues HELP!

Recently did a cam swap, stall, headers, exhaust in a 02 Tahoe 2wd with a 4l60e. After getting everything back together filling the trans with fluid, cycling through gears and what not to cycle the fluid it won't even out. What I mean is when it's cold, in park, level ground the fluid line on the dipstick is roughly 3/8"-1/2" above the hash marks on the HOT portion of the dipstick...naturally meaning it's over filled. When the truck is warmed up in park, or in neutral level ground the fluid is maybe 1/8" or less above the bent part of the dipstick at the cold fluid level. Driving feels over full but the dipstick says otherwise. Roughly 100 miles since the upgrades and I'm stumped, only thing I can think is drain and refill the trans...any help or input would be appreciated.

I have no idea how to post photos via mobile so I'll look into that and show what I mean as soon as I figure it out.

You've not got enough fluid in the transmission. Fill until it is as the top of "Full hot" mark when parked, running at idle and hot.

Full cold is not lower than full hot. Those holes are your minimum and maximum full hot marks. Full cold can be quite a bit higher.
