Well I didn't change the solenoid. The one that was already in it looked fine, didn't have any cracks. I changed the filter and fluid and it is still doing it.

I'm going to pull the trans next week and send off the converter to Circle-D to cut open and inspect (and restall ), and if they say nothing was wrong with it I'll send the whole tranny to Chase for inspection.

Why not change the solenoid while it's staring you in the face? Cheap way to figure out if that's your problem.

I just don't think that is the problem, those solenoids usually fail because of a crack down the side that leaks pressure. This one looked fine.

They're electrical. They could have a problem in the coil and you'd never see it. Suit yourself though I guess

Put the min apply duty cycle at 98 and max at 99.

In HPT my max apply duty cycle is 100% and the min is 99%
