Default Wheel weight

Which weigh more, the stock cast aluminum 17x7.5" or the Weld billet 17x8.5"?
I have my stock wheels laying 'round, what would be a good, not too expensive, street/strip tire to put on them?
I'm running stock tires right now, Bridgestone All-Terrains and that cant be good.
