Man, just think if you farted in that car. NO smell, just kick on the jet and WHAM GONE. Could be usefull for you single guys out there on your way to a date, no lingering. Ok I am not really awake, havent had my coffee yet.

That is cool as hell, but I cannot beleive a 10+ foot of flame is street legal.
I would still love to drive this thing!!!

This is why we need the truck lounge back.
We need a place to post stuff like this that won't get lost in the sea of reall stupid stuff over on SSU site.
It seems that the truck people in the hot rodding world are into more than just their trucks. Unlike Tech, where all you hear about his my way cool T-Bird or Camaro. Don't get me wrong, I hate to make generalizations without doing the research, but when I joined a long time ago while we were still on the tech site I rarely stepped out of the truck area because I was met with little to no support or stupid comments to boot.

Should I re-post this in the "Who Misses the Longe " thread???

That's bug has been my new desktop all week. There's a news video of it going around somewhere. The thing I can't believe is this cat has a PhD in ME, yet he doesn't have the forsight or common sense to upgrade the brakes on his stock beetle.

I think it'd be cool to use the stock gasoline engine to help spool up the jet engine faster.

Very cool indeed.

Big screen is to avoid FOD (foreign object damage). Jet keeps sucking the rose out of the bud vase on the dash!
LOL! Awesome!!! I bet when that beast is fired up every piece of trash, sunglasses, change, pics of your girl, condomns, you name it is stuck to that screen. LOL That blows me away that intake is that close to the driver! LOL Don't get me wrong, I'd sure as hell drive it.

As far as brakes go vanilla, I think they are a mute point with a jet engine. LOL One step at a time. Imagine his design sketches and notes. "Gonna have to delay the upgrade on brakes, budget has reached the limit." LOL Awesome!!!!
