Well my truck weighs right at 5000 flat with me in it (between 140-145lbs).

I will be there and I won't look down on you, hell I'm impressed that you're doing what you can with what you have to make your truck as fast as you can with out making it unsafe.

Hell go to my thread here and look at what I think about weight reduction, I already shed over 305 lbs off my truck and it was only 2 days old.

I will reweigh mine after the converter and lt's/ory. I am shooting for 4850ish with me in it, tailgate on and rear seats in. The tailgate and rear seats will be worth 130 lbs. so that would put it close to 4700 with me in it in "race form".

As it sits now, it is at 4950 with me in it.

Man you guys have some light trucks. I weighed in at 5780 with me in it, but I've since pulled the blower off so thats maybe 120lbs. 5870-120-me=5560. That sound about right? I haven't done any weight reduction...also have subwoofers in a big box and amps behind the seat...

i don't know about the stuff in the new trucks but my 2005 rcsb, i have remove alot and like this it was my daily driver. that is till gas prices sky rocketed and the horrible drivers on the roads these days.

fiberglass roll pan conversion
hitch
spare tire
a/c compressor and lines
all interior trim
all carpet
replaced factory seats with aluminum kirkey racing seats
headliner
door panels
fiberglass hood (don't know if it added or lost weight on that one)
stock 17" aluminum rims
cut/unbolted spare tire carrier assembly
tool kit
center seat
side molding,badges ect
plastic off intake
air box
now the seats and a/c are a little over kill for a guy with a family, but due to a back problem following a couple deployments to iraq i find the kirkeys and custom light weight memory foam better on my back for long trips and hey i have been in hotter places than ohio didn't seam to bother . some of the weight will be put back on as i finish the truck and when i figure out what im doing about the interior. i don't know how much this stuff weights but i do know it seams to have a little more humph

Well I just replaced my lower control arms and now I'm kind of kicking myself that I didn't order parts for an XFE. They come with aluminum control arms... Are the 4wd control arms the same as 2wd? Cause I don't think you could get a 4wd XFE. I couldn't find a part number via Google, but any parts counter guy with half a brain (rare) could find them I'm sure.
