Default 2007 Saleen F-150 questions

so i dont get on here often but i drive my dad's 2000 Dakota R/T and go to UTI in Orlando. well this new student there has this Saleen F-150 looks pretty nasty but i haven't a clue what these trucks are capable of im pretty sure that it will walk all over my R/T but have heard rumors that the supercharged versions with 500hp only run 7.3 sec 0-60 times.

I need more info on these trucks should i attempt to embarass his *** at a stoplight or should i wait until i give the R/T back to my dad and get my 97 LT1 Z28 6-speed Camaro to walk on him with?

I remember reading an article in Truckin when they did testing with both the Saleen and the Roush. The #'s were quite high and yes, it is supercharged and around 530 hp I think. My advise is to put your dads R/T on the bottle or start modding that LT1, cause a stock LT1 6spd is gonna have to put up a hell of a fight... That is unless you are already modded.

From what I've read those f-150s are not that fast. Your Silverado SS stock should be able to hang with them.

Edit:
Just looked on dragtimes.com and saw 2 roush f-150s. One ran a 13.913 and the other ran 14.040, that's not very impressive for a supercharged truck...

How is your instructor John (T-Bone) doing? Tell him the guy that sold him the 400 small block for his GTO wants you and the boys to install some cams in my Titan. John and I are from the same town in Illinois and his dad wrecked his 57 Chevy by running it off my dad's Dyno, lol. Tell him Brian said hi and I hope all is well with him. By the way I saw a kid in a new Saleen truck run at Bithlo last week and I think he ran a low 15 but I don't know if it was charged.

From what I've seen at my track in the Florida heat, the new SS "Stock" is a High 15 low 16 second truck and the new Tundras "Stock" I've run are at about 14.8 to 14.9

Dang, heat must be killer out there! I thought those SSS where in the high 14s stock. Were those Tundra double cabs btw? I know of a certain regular cab that ran a 14.181
