Walbro 190lph in stock system no tune?
Here is the issue.
Last owner decided to be smart and cut an access hole in the bed of my truck. I've been putting together parts for a performance upper end build but am unsure it will be ready before winter. I don't like the idea of having a non-sealed bed right above the fule tank especially with the winter snow-rain-slush-freeze crap around the corner.
I just recieved my walbro 190lph pump and would like to install it and weld up the "hatch" ASAP, but I'm not ready to get a tune or install my 42# injectors just yet.
Do you think the 190lph pump will be too strong over power the stock fpr and injectors and wash out my cylinders or will I be able to install it and run it till spring on a stock system?

nope.. im runnin a bosh 044 intank and it did just fine.. so will a walbro 255.. and a 190..
Its really easy to remove the bed.. install new pump, get bed away from gas tank and weld it backup. vola, ready to rock and roll.
gonna need a tune for the injectors tho

Thankyou!
Guess i have a project for the weekend.
I dont think ill lift the bed but i do have a few old school finerglass fire blankets ad a good size sheet of 1/8" aluminum i was planning to use.
I have a build thread started on one of the full size Chevy forums under the name cudaeh :suspect:
Ls3 injectors
Walbro 190lph pump
862 (stock) heads
2.02 manly intake valve
Stock size manly exhaust valves
Patriot double spring/ titanium seats and retainers kit
Gm performance roller lifters
Comp 54-424-11 cam
Arp head bolts
Texas speed performance chromoly pushrods
High pressure oil pump
Specter cold air intake
Bbk shorty headers (stock y pipe 2chamber muffler)
Egr delete
8mm plug wires
Black bear tune
Arp harmonic ballancer bolt
Roller timing chain kit
B&m 2400 stall torque converter
B&m shift improver kit
Flex-a-light 10"x20" trans cooler with all the -6an lines and fittings
I just need to gather
Arp rocker studs
Roller rockers
Upper/lower gasket kits and trans input shaft seal
Fluids
And an ls1 water pump ( leaving my options open for future ls6 intake swap)
