swaping stock truck injectors to 80lb bosch
#1
Turboing my 02 5.3 rcsb 2wd. I bought a set of Bosch 80lb injectors that are a ev1 connector. The Bosch ones are longer then the stockers making the fuel rail sit too high. Is there a solution to this? Also is there a place that sells the new connectors I need for these injectors? Also what power will 80lb injectors handle? Thanks in Advance
Chris.

There are wiring adapters you can buy, I believe your truck will have Multec II connectors, but you should check to be sure. And you can cut some spacers for the fuel rail from tube or spacers from the hardware store.

Wire harness adaptors :
FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTION - Mini Delphi to EV1 Wire Adapter
Fuel rail is easy to do. Two washers stacked at each corner did the trick for me.
There are many different factors that come into play here. But to give you an idea, 80lb. injectors can support 1000+ horsepower.
