I've had the goofy sending unit problem for years in this thing. It acts crazy in park but as soon as you put the truck in gear it shows the correct level it's almost funny.

Found this one though... Tempted to order it up at that price.

I'm gonna keep refreshing Google, maybe I'll come across one they'll offer to pay me to order, they seem to be getting cheaper

I'll call carparts tomorrow morning and order it up. I know there are a couple different electrical connector configurations on the top of the bucket unless someone can tell me otherwise. I just want to make sure I get the right crap for my crap...

that's probably some piece of **** airtex that will fail in 3 months

quick ebay search shows a brand new Delco pump with everything needed to install for $47 shipped, or a brand new Delco fuel pump module with everything new (will fix your sender issue) for 130 shipped.

I've been able to fix the senders without replacing them in the past. But replacing the module is easy.

I put an Airtex pump in my 07 about 3yrs ago... Not Delco, but was running when I turned the key off about an hour and a half ago lol. I do think with some parts name brands matter but I've seen so many pumps of every brand fail that I don't think it makes much difference one way or the other.... This is stock stuff were talking about. Down to the paper air filter, cats, tailpipe and all. Just like it left the assy line.
