Stock pump limitations?
Hello all so I got my go fast work truck up and going and then had an issue.
While tuning it during part throttle runs I was having a lean condition under power enrichment full throttle runs I was fine. So me being me and thinking it was everything but what it was I pulled the pump and it was awful looked like sand was in the bucket the sock was clogged up also. I planned spraying it so I had a 340lph aeromotive that I put in there well needless to say that just raised my fuel pressure to 62 pounds and seems like it drops pressure more than the oe pump did.
I've decided on a stand alone fuel system for my nitrous so no longer will be pulling from the rail.
So the question is should a stock AC delco replacement pump supply enough fuel for my truck (seems like it did before but was having an electrical issue causing interment deaccerlation fueling) specs on the engine are:
06 Silverado
SBE lq9
243s
.040 head gaskets
42lb fic injectors
228/232 .600 .600 112lsa
Thanks for all your help
Also I looked at all the aftermarket options and they don't use a true bucket design like GM original intended the sock is on the bottom of every one of them I'm guessing this might be why the failure rate of aftermarket pumps is substantially high

So which one would you pick. My truck will be paid off soon so I want to get serious about putting boost to my 6.2. But it's a NON flex fuel so I have to do something before I can use any type of boost.
2008 GMC SIERRA 1500 6.2L V8 Fuel Pump & Housing Assembly | RockAuto
I read on here once that the AC delco MU1847 is good to 600+ on 93 but I'm not so sure.
I would like 550 rwhp and If got over 600 would be great. But let start with 550.

Might want to check power supply to pump if something changed. Look at evap system as well...
