Default Stay on pump 93 only, or add meth? 11 psi

As the title says. Running 10psi with a peak of 11.5psi. Right now I'm on 93 octane only with 13* of timing. Drops to 11.5 at peak torque. Does anyone think it would be beneficial to add a methanol kit at this boost level?

I would love to up the boost level, but I'm on stock head gaskets and bolts. 2000 model block with composition gaskets. Got a little unknown oil consumption or a leak. I feel if I pull the heads a find wear, that the snowball effect will get me. So, its probably best that I dont mess with the heads yet lol.

I was at 11 for a while. It seemed to be ok. Just the other night it was 40 something and I coulda swore I seen 12.5 psi and felt a little break up. So I turned it back down to 9.

I think my tuner put the timing at 14

It's winter time here in buffalo so no sense in trying for the extra 30-40 wheel hp.

Here is my most recent 11psi pulls. Seems to be smooth.

I know I wouldn't try any more than 11 w our stock motors and 93.

Guys with boost should be rerearching/planning to buy meth or E85 IMO period. Both are great stuff for boost!

I agree but the e85 pumps are few and far between here in buffalo. I don't wanna limit myself to one station within every 30 miles. Meth is nice but I bought a turbo so I didn't have to fill anything. I literally do burnouts and wot pulls every day.

I just did a quick pull and looks like I am only at 9* timing. Might have some knock being picked up. It was only tuned for 8. Shame on me. Lol
