as for my feed ive seen a few guys run a 90' fitting threw the hate to a hose barb so i think i will do the same.

my questons is do i need the sock in or out of the bucket, i see most guys run it outside and some inside so any input would be good.

next queston how are you guys wiring the pumps up inside the bucket i plan to get a hotwire kit but still arent 100% on hooking it up.

ill post more pics once my fittings get here

04 up bucket already has the upgraded 30 amp electrical bulkhead, I ended up making my own in tank harness that's plug and play for the walbro 450. I used OEM feed as my return and ran a new -8 feed with a big fuelab filter inline.

Looks like you have the same fittings.. so I should be able to just splice the factory grey and black wires into the walbro harness and not do a hot wire kit?

I would still suggest a hotwire kit, this provides a better power source to tank. As for the intank, I would not use any factory wiring as the 400 will have too high of a current draw. You need to upgrade all the wiring basically. Racetronix makes a plug and play hotwire kit for that bucket assembly, I may have a part number somewhere but its been awhile since I installed mine. I would base the wiring off of a good 30 amp draw to be safe. How is the 400 wired? Do you have a pic of the pump?

I made a thread a couple years ago about doing dual walbro400s in a returnless bucket. You will probably find it useful. I ran 10ga wires straight to rhe pumps.

I looked at it last night, gave me some more ideas. But where did you run your wires after they was out of the tank? did you make a bulkhead and hook it into the harness or what?
