Primary pump not pushing fuel
Alright, I have an issue with my fuel system and am looking for some help.
Basic Info:
80lb Injectors
Stock Rails & Lines
Racetronix Hotwire on Primary (Racetronix 255)
Hobbs and battery setup on Secondary (Racetronix 340)
My primary pump with start with key on put doesn't pressurize the lines. The truck will obviously not start. I jumped the 340 and the truck starts and pressurizes with no issue. I obviously know the problem lies in the first pump now. It power on fine and is wired correctly showing 12v.
I was originally thinking there has to be a hole in the fuel line on the primary pump. However, I realized last night the pump has a venturi tube on it. This tube is not hooked into anything as the truck doesn't have a venturi tube from the factory. Could this be the issue instead?
If so, do I need to run a line into the bottom of the bucket or can I just seal the venturi tube with no issues and pretend it doesn't exist?
