Default NNBS intake manifold swap

i just bought a NNBS intake manifold, and have evrything covered except for the fuel rails. the manifold will be going on my 2000 5.3l lm7, can i reuse my stock return style rails, or do i have to convert the rails that are coming with the manifold to return style?

you will need to have the stock crossover modified for it to fit. I have a modified one in the classifieds

Is modifying the return style rail really the way to go? I just don't like the idea of how it looks. The tech guys at our track are really picky. Why is it not as popular to just run the Vette regulator? I'm gonna need a tune anyway so scaling the injectors is a moot point. I'm not going forced induction. Would the majority of you guys still suggest making an old return style rail fit the NNBS intake?

The corvette regulator works great is your using the nnbs rails. I Have ran stock return style rails with this intake. Just have to make some spacers to raise them up a lil bit. And raise the crossover up also. I cut and modified my crossover with rubber fuel line.

The corvette regulator would be the best route with the nnbs return less rails on our year model trucks.

Thank you, that's the say I'm going to go. I want it to look as clean as possible. Track Tech are a bunch of ******. Year before last after they saw how close I was to the cage limit they told me that a small crack in my windshield didn't pass tech and not to come back till I get a new windshield. I am still trying to decide if I'm gonna have the returnless rail modified or make a small braided fuel line to connect the two.

Easiest way to do it is to simply replace the crossover rail on the return rails with a taller cross over

I see where your coming from but brazing on fittings and drilling new holes and finding spacers, then tapping PCV for vacuum on the regulator just does look to attractive. I want it to end up as clean looking as possible. And having two fuel filters seems like a good redundancy...

I did what I had asked about previously and turned the rail around the other direction and made a cross over for the returnless rail and it is slicker then all get out. There is no reason to spend any time modding a return style rail when the corvette fuel filter is this easy to work with.

I agree, but to me it just looks gaudy.. Maybe easier to do, but not as clean.
