Where is your vac/boost line hooked to?

There is a 1/4 line running from the nipple on the back passenger side of the intake (it used to be for the AIR pump). This line runs over to the driver side, necks down to 1/8" at the brake booster, and then tees off to the fuel pressure regulator, tees off to the methanol controller, and ends at the boost controller inside the cab. The boost controller and meth injection are both working fine so I think the vac line is okay.

Here is an amazing sketch of my setup.

I wonder if the distance between the regulator and the gauge/sender are to blame.

Uncap the other side on your regulator.

Also, just making sure, you don't have a check valve somewhere do you?

Uncap it? It needs to be capped or fuel will come out. I plumbed it like Figure 1-3 in this doc: http://aeromotiveinc.com/wp-content/...3101-09-14.pdf

No check valves that I know of.

I pulled it out of the rail and made a bypass plug to go in it's place.

Aeromotive said that it's not a regulator problem which I tend to agree with since they are so darn simple inside. He said I'm probably not getting enough fuel which is odd because the 255 I had before was sufficient enough to give nearly 1:1 pressure rise in boost. And now the 400 with the hot wire kit is insufficient?

With the base pressure set to 48psi it was doing the same thing, good modulation in vacuum, only rises 1-2psi in boost.
