Default GM Injector question

I have a 2000 GMC Z-71 that came with a 5.3 and I am putting in a 2003 LQ9 6.0 from an Escalade.
I know I have to use my intake, but was wondering if I can use the injectors from the 6.0 and if they would be better ..... and will my tuner have to adjust for them?
The plugs are the same and I heard the 5.3 injectors are 21# and the 6.0 are 24# .... is this true?

THANKS for any help!

No, the injectors are 24lb/hr for both unless the escalade is flex fuel.

If the truck was a 1999 they came with 21-22lb/hr injectors, they went to larger ones in 2000. Find the part number on your injectors and you can double check the size if you want to but they should be 24lb/hr.

Depending on mods you do, you'll want bigger injectors than factory. The 24lb/hr injectors don't go far on a 6.0.

Thanks for the info, I am glad to hear mine are probably 24# and will check the numbers.
I am leaving it all stock because it is my old 4x4 with 33 12.50 mud grips and I don't want to break my 4L60 trans .... OR ANYTHING.
