I would put a manual gauge on it so you can really see whats going on. I don't have good luck with the electric ones.

Ok, will do. About my 450 pump, i have the sock inside the bucket pushed down. I wonder if it drawing fuel from the inside is too much for how the sock is since its snug. In my bucket with the 450 their isn't much room. I will check the pressure after i do the new filter, hopefully it turns out good that i don't need to mess with the pump.

Something else i was thinking of, since the 8 rib od balancer at idle i see 13s and really no 14s anymore on my alternator gauge. That use to be 14s rolling down the highway. I wonder isn't enough power going to the 450. If thats the case how do i get the power back up to where it needs to be...?

I went and changed the fuel filter to a 6an aeromotive, it gained me 2 psi on the gauge. Also checking it with a manual gauge right on the regulator it shows 2 psi more than the electric autometer on my pillar. So in other words i'm at 66 psi at 10 psi of boost, should be 68 but i think thats about close enough. The truck seems alot more responsive and snappier. The gauge seems to move a lil faster too.

It looks like volume is the key. To get this where it should be i will need to swap my 6an feed to make it the new return and run an 8an feed. I'm pretty sure atomic was right on with that. If i will do this i'm not really sure...

Default Still ongoing fuel pressure problems

Ok, here's a little more on this subject. In my tune it was adjusted to run a 50 psi base. Now at idle i see 42-44, cruise i see 40. At 10 psi it won't go over 54, the gauge is off 2 psi so 56. Why won't this fuel pressure go up close to 10 psi from my base. Still no matter how its set it won't do the full pressure.

Could it be my 3/8 feed line being a limiting factor..? Any of you with 3/8 feed and a 450 see more pressure..? I wonder would the 1/2 inch feed and the 3/8 return help the system.

I have my boost gauge and my fpr on the same line with a t, could that be a problem..?
