Default Fuel pressure at 65psi, replaced regulator, still showing 65 psi

what else should I check?

About 5 months ago my fuel pressure was correct, 58psi.. sometimes it would be at 52psi when I cranked it up. Gradually over the months the psi kept increasing and increasing. Now it is always between 65psi and 70psi. Sometimes it is in the 70's

I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pressure is still at 65+psi. I'm at a loss with this one.

What gauge are you using? Have you tried another gauge?
