So I bought a new truck and it has fuel leak and has a TON of splices on the whole fuel line system. So I ordered a Dorman 919-841 kit and installed it but I ran into a few problems. First is that the vapor line doesn't seem to match up to correct location - pictures below. Second issue is that the flex hoses on the center connection have too much of a bend to where it will pinch off the hose, it seems like the line is about 1 inch too long on the flex line side coming from the frame side. The original line which is a splice that runs from the fuel filter to the fuel tank runs along the frame and up while the new line kit redirects the line to around the opposite side of the tank which means I’ll have to rotate the fuel pump into the other direction. I tried to look up diagrams but nothing matches my setup. Any help would be very much appreciated.
