fast fuel rail plumbing
 

so while building my 383 i bought a fast lsxrt intake and fast rails. now i thought i bought all of the required fittings but found out that my alternator is way to close for my front mount crossover to fit. can someone take a pic and let me know what fittings they used to build their fuel system please. thanks.

That is always a trouble spot with big fuel rails...

Im using nasty performance billet rails on a stock L92 intake, fragola brand -8 an oring to -8an, and a 90 degree summit -8an hose end. I had to trim the back of the alternator plastic.

did you just connect it to the front of the passenger rail?

Pushing 1k+ hp and this setup works fine.

sweet. so ill call summit in the morning and order 2 of the 90's and i should be good to fire this old girl up for the first time in almost 6 months

I used redhorse performance fittings with my fast rails. They are -8 as well. Tightest 90* fitting i could find was the redhorse. Clears just barely without any trimming. iirc the -8 oring fittings in the rails are aeromotive.

I used the Aeromotive EOR to -8AN fittings for the rails and then a simple -8AN Jeggs 90* hose fitting. Fit just fine. Even more clearance if I went to a -6AN. I am using the larger case GM alternator as well.
