Default Fast Fuel Rail Leaking

Hey guys,

Not sure I'm in the right section anyways I recently purchased a Fast LSXRT 102 mm intake along with the matching fuel rail for my 2011 GMC Sierra 5.3. First time I installed it everything was fine until I got home, that's when I noticed a strong smell of gasoline. I quickly shut the car off and after fiddling around noticed that the injector on the driver side, closest to the windshield was leaking. Long story short, I tried replacing the washers with smaller ones, it worked for a bit but leaked again, I tried a couple of different o-rings all led to the same result with the same injector leaking. However, in the end we removed the washers completely, lubed the o-rings pretty good and put everything back together. So far everything is going well. What do you guys think the problem is? Any input will be massively appreciated.

You might have had too much rail height for the o-ring to o-ring length and the fuel pressure pushed the injector down, causing it to just come out of the bore at the top o-ring. Lowering the height of the rails might be what you need.
