Question:
I've been wondering if I would get added performance by using an ethanol free fuel in my truck for towing.
I currently have a Black Bear Performance tune for 89 octane. The fuel available locally is 90 octane non-ethanol.

What do you all think?

You probably won't see anymore power out of it, but you might see a little improvement in mileage. I used to get 1-2mpg better between the two back when strait gas was more readily available.

 

It is not around here anymore, but when we had 91 octane no-whiskey, my truck was noticeably peppier on it vs 93 octane E10.
