Default built from scratch fuel sys

I have a 2008 LY2 4.8 In a Jeep Wrangler It had a return-less sys on the engine

I used the stock Jeep in-tank fuel pump and eliminated the stock fuel regulator on top of the Jeep assembly . I then installed a Corvette fuel filter regulator and ran a return to the tank. The engine runs fine, and starts fine, But under extreme acceleration its starving for fuel . (Checked with pressure tester on rail and at WOT its dropping to 30 PSI )

Ideas ?

Thanks
Lowell

My best guess would be that the stock jeep fuel pump just isn't keeping up. Any idea what the flow rating of it is? I wouldn't think that a 4.8 would over power a stock pump but I guess it all depends on the size of the pump. Also if you have any mods vs just a stock 4.8, that could be why.
