Anyone using a "fuel bomb"? Separate feed tank?

Back in my days at Wheel to Wheel, we had the turbo Silverado SS and used a separate tank with Bosch pumps to feed the engine. So there was a pump to fill this separate tank and bigger pumps in the side tank to push fuel forward. With truck this seems like a good option due to all the space underneath.

My friend has an 07 Silverado. He uses the Deatschwerks dual pump surge tank. Fed by stock in tank setup. Works fine.

why not 1 tank with dual pumps...1 to feed out of boost, and another to kick on once in boost?

Positive pressure tank, no slosh, solid constant pressure. I want this setup...

I have one. It is fed by the return and has three Denso 1020s that come on as soon as the engine vacuum drops. No slosh, solid constant pressure.

It is in the bed in front of the left wheel well. The lines, clockwise from the top right, are return from the engine, supply to the dual inlet/outlet fuel filter in the engine bay, return to the main tank, and a drain line that is teed into the return under the bed. I can open the valve under the surge tank and drain it for maintenance. On top is the lid, which is a 5" v-band with a cap welded on. I put a viton gasket between the flanges. The cap has the Racetronix bulkhead electrical fitting. The thing on the top right that looks like a gas cap is a gas cap. It serves as a vacuum breaker, but also keeps the fumes inside.

I tell anyone who asks that it's an auxiliary tank. That is a satisfactory answer to 99% of them.
