Default Aftermarket fuel tank??

Hey guys i have a 2001 silvy Z71 and i was wondering if anyboby makes a oversize fuel tank that is a direct replacement for the stocker. I want one that the stock fuel pump and everything will work with. I know there are a couple companys out there that make replacement diesel tanks but i doubt they would fit my chasis or my fuel system. All help is appreciated guys!

Thanks

Ive never seen one for the gas burner 1/2 tons..

but on the Z71 forum there was a guy that used a old F150 rear gas tank and put it above his spare tire. an extra 16 or 18 gallons?

Wouldn't a 2500 tank work?

Edit: GM# 15772876 is a 1500/2500 reg/ext cab 34gal tank. I could see you needing a new evap hose but your pump should work fine.

Yeah maybe that part is for a HD truck.. I wouldnt mind buying a fuel cell and bolting it in my toolbox so it is hidden but my problem is how cojld i tap it into my fuel tank where it dosent screw up all my evap stuff and throw codes.. I also dont all my fuel evaporating away either.. I guess i dont need a whole new tank, i would be happy with like a 10-12 gallon fuel cell in my tool box. I just dont know the proper way to tap into my fuel tank without causing problems.

Why do you want such a big gas tank?
