Default 04 truck converting to return style.. needing advice

As the title states, I'm converting to return style. Got a couple questions....
....
...
..
.
Alright.
I bought a walbro 400 pump, do I need to add a check valve, or does the pump have one internally?

Most importantly, can I use my returnless fuel rails somehow? I already have an aeromotive regulator. I also happen to have return style fuel rails, can I just use those with the external regulator? Or should I just some aftermarket rails and be done with it? Just looking for a clean install, with a good budget in mind of course.

Just did the swap with the 400. Ran new -8 feed and used a russel factory quick connect to connect to fuel rail. Used another russel qiick connect to connect to factory feed for my return line. Used aero 13129 reg. Ran a summt brand 10 micron inline fuel filter on feed line. Will need a -8 bulkhead for top of bucket and several different fittings depending on how you run your lines under the hood. Go ahead and do a hotwire kit while your at it.

You can use either rails..

With the returnless ones you need to put the regulator before the fuel rail on the feed line.

With the return rails you put it after the fuel rails.

Depending on how much power you are shooting for you will want to do it after the rails at some point.

You said you already had a aftermarket reg. Just run the returnless rails and that. Not sure if the 400 will over power the factory return style regulator.

i can't help but to be a little skeptical of putting the regulator before the rails, i'd rather do it after and just get it over with, as i'd like to really expand my power goals soon with this setup. i have searched and haven't really found anyone using an external fpr with stock return rails, would i really have to buy aftermarket rails?

I'm running 15psi with reg before the rails. Afr holds 10.9 at wot. Not saying this is the ideal way but it works for me.

hmm would you happen to have a link or part numbers for those fittings to connect to the rails and factory lines?
