LOL, thanks.

As it is, I need to QUIT smoking 'em for a while. I've already almost balded the back tires before I've even gotten the chance to rotate them for the second time.

LSD and stick is fun and great for launching and for burning the hell out, but it sure don't contribute to conserving the tires.

Here are some updated pictures I took today. The first ones I've been able to grab in a while.

Hopefully soon. I want to do some perf work to it first (SS fuel management chip, CAI, true dual exhaust), but then I will try to take it.

As it stands right now, there isn't a close quarter-mile track around here, albeit there is a 1/8th mile track nearby, but I'd rather have quarter numbers. We'll see what the near future brings.

I got an issue from sport compact magazine a few months ago(used to own a few Nissans, 2 240sx's and 300zx) and they did a test on the TRD concept and stock X-runner. They tested just over 16 sec 1/4 mile and a few under 15 sec for the supercharged one. But it handles like no other pick-up on the market, .90g's. Truck trend said 15.7 in the 1/4. Not bad but I would have thought faster.

New ones are fast but they need basic mods(intake, exhaust) to run flat 15s. Funny how the new tacomas have 2 air filters...

Dude nice truck!!! I was at the track a couple months back and i saw a blue one running consistant 16.0-16.5. He had intake and exhaust and im not sure what else. The guy was havin some major launching issues tho. It looked like his bed was gonna fly off the way it was flexin. He got one really clean run and he ran a 16.0. I was pretty impressed.
