I've been wanting to by the tundra for the longest time. The only reason I haven't is because they aren't easy to tune. The truck stock is bad ***, but I think you're only getting 75-80% of what it could throw down. I've never been in a stock truck that pulls all the way to to the limiter like that does.

This guy has a RCSB, Volant air filter and two Flowmaster 40's that he chopped in. 0-60 in about 5.2sec.

Even with the SC you can only get their reflash of the PCM. Time will tell people are working on it now but I think it will take some time.

Brian, did you turn off the VCS when you drove the truck? (they didn't turn it off in the tests on edmunds) Push and hold the VCS button for 3 seconds, the button is a little below and to the right of the steering wheel. Then you'll see the truck with "swervie lines" light turn on in the dash. The truck will smoke the tires when you stab the gas from a dead stop.

Buy that pig and find a way to tune that thing!!!!!!

The Tundra lost the battle today, with all of my GM supplier discounts and points and rebates yada yada the G8 GT was 6500 LESS than the Tundra.

Dont fault you on your decision, the G8 is an awesome car.

As far as tuning on the Tundra, I believe URD is in the process of coming out w/ something, but who knows when or how effective itll be.

When I talk to people about tuing vehicles they are all amazed how easu it is for gm people. I think we take for granted how easy we have it in the tuning work compare to other brands
