Default Nissan Titan oil notes

Don't forget that if you change your own oil it takes 6.5 quarts so if you buy a 6-pack of oil don't forget to pick up that one extra.

Also, if you have a 2004 model, Nissan changed the oil in the rearend to synthetic and also changed the rear end cover to an aluminum finned cover for 05 models. This is old news on many Nissan sites but I thought it's something useful in case someone with a titan just got one and stumbles onto this site and likes what they see.

I ran 15.4 with a full tank of gas. With 1/4 tank, spare removed, and tailgate removed I ran 15.1s@91mph. Bone stock down to the paper air filter with a full 4-door crew cab.

It was July 12, 2004. I don't remeber what the weather was like. I don't think it was as hot as it has been in Houston recently. So about a year ago.
