Nissan Titan oil notes

Don't forget that if you change your own oil it takes 6.5 quarts so if you buy a 6-pack of oil don't forget to pick up that one extra.
Also, if you have a 2004 model, Nissan changed the oil in the rearend to synthetic and also changed the rear end cover to an aluminum finned cover for 05 models. This is old news on many Nissan sites but I thought it's something useful in case someone with a titan just got one and stumbles onto this site and likes what they see.
