Default Soooo…….

I’m getting close to buying a F150 EB.

I’m waiting to hear back on some news from last week but I have a a bank approval that’s good until 11/18.

I’m specific as to what I’m looking for:

1. 36 gallon tank
2. 3.73s
3. 3.5 EB

From what I’ve read, I have to be looking at the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels since those came with #1 and #2.

It'll sit in the driveway most of the time but would be used to pull the camper next year and future years.

I’m considering private selling my 2006 Sierra because I think I can get more for it than what I’ll get on trade.

I've sold a couple to carmax to avoid the hassle and they usually offer more than the dealer trade in. Only good for 10 days though.

Carvana will only give me $2200 for it as it sits.

Carmax won't even give me a number online.

Hence the private sale mentality. I feel like I could get a solid $4000 for it. I've got almost about 9x into it, which I know, I will never get out of it.

If that truck is clean rust wise it would easily bring more than 4k down here in FL.

Those 3.5EB with 10spd are quick.

Not a single tear in any fabric.

I had the headliner redone a few years ago, it's solid.

The front nose could use some paint work. Just being honest.

During the I85 bridge collapse, I was behind another vehicle that sprayed up some rock on me one morning....the hood, bumper fascia got tore up pretty good.

It was repainted about a year before that happened. Not a Maaco job either. It was properly torn down.

It has been wrecked 3x. 2 rear-ends and I bumped a box truck at a redlight that caused the front to have to be fixed.

Outside of that, solid. Drove it all last year pulling the camper.

The price trucks are going for now I'd post it higher than you think you could get. I have a neighbor that just sold a 2000 S10 4cyl auto 2wd ex-cab with 110k for $4,500, had it posted for less than a week and it's not in the greatest shape maybe a 7/10.

That's just me tho, if you don't have to sell might as well set the price high and sit on it a few weeks see what happens.

Thanks for that.

I'd even leave the Sony XAV-AX1000 in it. I put that in for CarPlay functionality, mainly a bigger screen for maps. For reference - https://www.sony.com/lr/electronics/...ers/xav-ax1000

It doesn't have a ton of bells/whistles but for me, CarPlay, bluetooth and hands-free is what I wanted.
