Wink I need some advice?

Looking to upgrade on rims?
Does anyone know if this is true?
Going to 22 inch rims on my 2006 STX Ford Reg Cab will loose gas mileage?
Somebody also told me i would have to modify my brakes?
Overall does anyone know if this is true?
Oh and bye the way anyone know a good long lasting tire to go with 22 in ch rims??
I appreicate the advice thanxs guys?

Larger rims are heavier (usually) and will be more rotational mass so yes, it will take more energy to get to and maintain speed= less mpg.
More energy to stop moving too
Good idea to upgrade brakes anyway.
