I sold my VMAX and bought an 08 F250. I got it for 19k. It is 4wd, CCSB, 5.4, lariat. I love the truck. I like the SD body style the most out of any truck. I miss my LQ9, but I am in love with the F250. I didnt go with a smoker for a few reasons. Didn't want a V10. So my questions are as follows:

Not looking for a dragtruck. Just a fun amount of HP and TQ


1. I am leaning towards a STS, or would a blower be better?

2. I have the 5R110W, I am not planing on more than 500 hp/tq, will the stock tranny be fine since it is identical to the 6.4L tranny?

 

FORDS love force in duction i would go with a whipple supercharger for torque since its a big factor when driving a big truck that weighs around 6k pounds you need to get it moving. hp and trq should be around 400's

 

I will check the whipple out.
