Default Lets Talk CAI for the 04+ Ford trucks.

What is available for these trucks. Any proven gains from certain CAI's. I was comparing part numbers for the 5.4 and the 4.6 and they are different.

Volant, K&N, pretty much all the big names make one. I'd go with the Volant or K&N, preference being the former.

PSP's Fast Air is another option. It one of the only true CAI kits out there.
Chicken Ears is developing a CAI kit that looks to be even superior to the Fast system. JL's is also a true CAI but uses less ducting to the air box.

I just recently put the K&N on my 2007 F150 Super crew and I love it. It made a big diference in all around town driving, but I cant really tell a gas mileage diference. The kit was very clean and detailed though, I love it.

i believe that the most popular one is the airforce one intake. there are slp, outlaw,k&n,roush, aem, and many others. i had a airraid and sold it. bought the airforce one and have been very happy with it. volant makes a nice one also.
