I'm trying to find the biggest intercooler I can that will still fit between the frame rails on my 95. They measure exactly 27 inches wide. I'm looking at the 24 x 12 x 4 Godspeed intercooler on ebay. The end tanks are tapered and the distance from the core support to the bottom of the frame rails is about 9 inches. I'm wondering if the taper would fit just about perfect between the rails and then the inlet and outlet hang just below the frame rails? Does anyone have this or a similar brand intercooler in this size that could measure the width of the tanks just before the inlet and outlet?

There are not many turbo'd OBS trucks on this forum, but the flanges on the ends on the IC are probably 2" long so it will be a close fit.

 

Yea I know. Now that you mention that I just remembered there is a dude with a 95 short wide with a turbo'd I believe LSx in it. Regardless of the engine I am going to hit him up on his intercooler setup if he's running one.
