Default which will give you more power with same PSI and motor.

What do you think will give more power the tvs2300 or paxton 1500 on the same motor and both same PSI?

well don´t know much about which one will make more hp, what I can tell you is that the tvs will give the power at low rpms, and the paxton needs to get at least 3000-3500 up to make power, correct me if i´m wrong

OK, both on the same engine, same boost levels with same charge temps....same results BUT you have to understand where each will make peak HP and TQ. The TVS will have way more power "under the curve" meaning you will have more power all across your power band.

Peak power would be close if you were shooting for around 600hp. I have carried the 2000 units to 900+ but the 1500's don't come on the Vipers lol.

TVS will make more torque and have a flatter curve. Not sure which one has more parasitic loss though.

id have to say the centrifigal will have less parasitic loss . i agree though the tvs will make more boost under the curve , if pullied smaller the centri will make decent boost at lower rpms . i was able to make a couple psi on a launch @ 2800 rpms . id say for a track setup the paxton would win but for a street machine the tvs will own .

English? So you're saying you raced another car that had a TVS1900 against your modded car?!? Similiar cars, like a TVS1900 Camaro vs modded Camaro? Apparently you spanked him.

The 1500's on Vipers?

What he said.
OP, where do u spend most of your time?
I'd pick TVS no matter what, but that's me. Why be confined to a limited power band?

I would have to say the 1500 would. The 1500 has less parasitic drag and doesn't sit right on top of the motor to soak up heat. The 1500 also doesn't have much problem with low rpm boost. We just recently tuned a 416 with a 1500 on it and it made plenty of boost down low. We've also recently tuned 2 vehicles with 2300's. Centrifugals are getting better and better as time goes on just as the Maggies are. Properly dialed in the centrifugal makes more than enough torque down low. The downside to them is how much room they take and all of the extra piping. For simplicity and how clean the engine compartment stays is why I would pick the Magnacharger over it.
