What about the 02 sensor?
the 02 sensor is brand new and looks like it to....i called autometer and they said that i need a new power and ground source and not to hook it up to another gauge can anyone help who has installed a autometer wideband where do u hook your up to
I think Terra was referring to the correct 02 sensor to read wideband. It needs a Lambda Sensor. One should have came with the kit.
Mine is powered by the side panel fuse box. It is "t" into the correpsonding amp source.
You need to run an independent power and ground to the gauge. I learned this the hard way trying to tie my AEM WB into the existing power and ground for the other gauges. The sensor needs a bit more power and doesn't like to share - so to speak.
okay so how did you wire yours bluecobra, after contacting auto meter they said the power and ground cant be tied into the other gauges because it needs power to warm up the sensor...i tried hooking it to the battery same thing but the truck was off any other ideas...
where does everyone draw their power for the wideband and where do you ground it at.....
Is the entire gauge blank? Or do you see --- instead of numbers?
yeah when i first turn on the ignition it shows -- then i wait for a mintue turn the truck on and it does the count down after that all the leds shows up and the numbers turn off then the whole gauge shuts off...
